Since moving to Monmouthshire, he has developed a keen interest in drawing - which he inherited from his father - and since 1989 has trained with various local artists. Since 2002 he has explored the use of photography, oils and mixed media and print techniques at Herefordshire College of Art, completing an Honours in Photography/Art in 2008.
His work has been influenced by the Italian and American Futurist movements and the Cubists to exemplify movement and depth. Modern architectural themes often appear in his work that is ongoing and developing along traditional as well as more abstract lines.
Colin has been an Associate member of the Royal Photographic Society since 2008.
In 2020 he gained a PGCE in Biomedical Egyptology. |
